Customer's Fault Description
None of the buttons work - batteries have been replaced. All the buttons on the spare remote so not a fault with the door unit
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely from Herts and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was found to be due to a bad solder joint on the main IC, if the IC was pressed the remote would spring to life.  The solder around the IC was reflowed which restored full functionality (see testing video)

A set of Duracell CR2016 batteries will be supplied fitted on return.
