Not working after dropped on tiled floor. Before that on/off not working.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This CD Receiver RCD-M38 remote control arrived safely from London and on inspection the battery terminals were misplaced (see image). This made the remote completely dead.
When opened the PCB was cracked around on of the terminals, the print was reworked and the terminals refitted. This restored power but the power button was non functioning. This was due to worn button contacts. A replacement conductive pad was glued into place which restored full functionality.
