BSSB tv lift Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : BSSB

Model : tv lift

Customers Fault Description : the remote unit will not charge up so i cannot lift the tv from the bed end. it appears a connection problem, sometimes it charges if you wiggle it a bit but it needs attention

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This BSSB TV lift remote control arrived safely from Surrey and on inspection the charging cable was detached from the PCB.

A replacement charge port was soldered into place which restored full functionality.

IMPORTANT! - It is extremely important to ONLY use rechargeable batteries in this remote (such as the LIR2032).  Many people fit non rechargeable batteries (CR2032) which will not work properly.
