Customer's Fault Description
When motor mover engaged handset shows constant green light but whilst using motor mover stops and handset flashes green. Looks like something is missing from top of handset ie infrared light.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This caravan mover remote arrived safely from Lancashire and on testing was found to be transmitting on each button press as per normal operation (see testing video).
The hole at the top of the remote is actually normal, this is a socket to plug in an umbilical cable to bypass the RF signal requirement.
This item has been classed as no fault found. It could be a fault with the receiver or it may simply need "pairing" with the receiver.
Someone has replaced the battery clip in the remote with a chucky clip meaning the battery cover wont stay on properly, this does not effect functionality and therefore has not been changed.
