Powrtouch Classic Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Once switched on, the green power light continues to flicker and the left roller starts, only pausing momentarily if a button is pressed. Motion is only stopped by isolating the mover or removing the remote's battery.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Powrtouch Classic motor mover remote arrived safely from Blackpool and on powering up was found to be transmitting without a button being pressed.
This was due to a short in the button array from contamination. The button array was split open and the contamination removed which restored full functionality.
