Customer's Fault Description
The remote does not switch the power on. The red led light on the cooker hood does not respond.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Silverline remote control arrived safely from London and on inspection was found to be missing its battery cover and the control "rattled" when shook.
When tested the remote was found to be functioning as per normal operation on each button.
The controller was opened to check for defects and to investigate the rattle. The battery covers retaining clip was found loose inside but no other issue could be replicated.
As no fault could be found this item has been classed as no fault found (see testing video), the code was checked against a stock code and confirmed to be correct.
