Customer's Fault Description
Two buttons working intermittently. ⬇ and ↩ buttons. Can you check the battery terminals as they are breakinf
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Towsure UT203 motor mover remote arrived safely from Surrey and on inspection the button array was partially detached from the case and the battery cover was missing (this cannot be replaced).
On testing the buttons with a multimeter two of the button were confirmed to be open circuit when pressed.
The button facias are not available as spares but we did have a Riviera UR203 case which has the same button mapping. Therefore the entire case was replaced (see testing video). This remote now shows that it is a Riviera UR203 but it has the Towsure innards (which again are basically the same)
The battery cable was also replaced as it had signs of damage.
