Customer's Fault Description
The controller intermittently does not power up but if I keep trying then I can get it on eventually and it works to move the caravan. I put in a new battery and it stopped all together, put in an older battery and it will turn on again eventually.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Power touch Evolution caravan motor mover remote arrived safely from Shropshire.
On testing the remote was found not to power up from its twin power button press.
This was due to the common issue of worn button contacts. Replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored full functionality.
