Customer's Fault Description
The 'On' and 'Off' buttons are very temperamental. They sometimes work after pressing the same button numerous times.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

These two Dimplex heater remotes arrived safely from Middlesex and on testing one had a faulty power button and the other had the opposite button faulty.

Both were due to the same issue whereby the IC breaks away from the PCB due to the flexing of the very flimsy PCB.  Both ICs were soldered firmly back into place which restored full functionality to both remotes  (see testing video)
