Customer's Fault Description
All functions working except up-and-down volume control buttons, which do not make contact when pressed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote control for Audio Research LS16 Preamplifier arrived safely from Gwynedd and on testing was confirmed to have non functioning volume buttons.

This was due to worn button contacts.  Replacement conductive pads were glued into place under each button which restored full functionality (see testing video)
