Customer's Fault Description
No longer lighting fire, had deteriorated over time so was slow now not getting beep from fire to start lighting sequence. Also has detached cable from battery connection but that never stopped in working before.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from Shropshire and on inspection was found to have a "damaged" but working battery cable. When testing the signal it was present as per normal operation.
A common issue on these items is the regulator goes faulty which causes the battery indicator to be erroneous and the signal to be very weak but we have not seen this fault yet.
After talking to the customer it was confirmed that the regulator was at fault. The regulator and battery cable were replaced.
