Customer's Fault Description
The unit is approx 5 years old. The battery is not faulty (tried 3 new ones), and the screen lights up, but the battery sign is flashing and the remote will not get the fire to work
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gazco remote arrived safely from Cheshire and on testing was found to have an erroneous battery level indicator. This is caused by a faulty regulator which also effects the RF signal. The regulator was replaced as well as the battery cable which restored full functionality.
