Canton Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Canton

Customers Fault Description : Suddenly stopped working. Replaced battery - still did not work

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Canton Soundbase DM55 remote control arrived safely from Surrey and on inspection one of the battery terminals was found to be bent out of position which was shorting any battery that was inserted.  The terminal was bent back into position which restored full functionality

A Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return, please take care when replacing the battery in the future to position the replacement battery in the correct position otherwise the same issue can happen, the supplied battery wont require replacing for quite some time.
