Customer's Fault Description
Several buttons not working: Power, Volume +/-, Front USB, Call, Add, Tune- [2 back arrows]. I first noticed the "Front USB" button not working a couple of months ago and other buttons stopped working afterwards.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Remote control for audio system Marantz M-CR610 arrived safely from Wembley and on testing was found to have many non responsive buttons. When opened there was signs that the button contacts were decomposing and contaminating the PCB.
the PCB was cleared of all contaminants and replacement conductive pads glued into place which restored full functionality.
