Customer's Fault Description
The remote is not working and the battery case is broken
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Exodus remote control arrived safely from Guernsey and on inspection the battery compartment was found to be damaged making a power connection not possible.
When holding a PP3 battery in position the remote was found to work, this led to the modification of the battery housing making a connection more solid.
A spring was soldered on the bottom terminal plate which forces the battery into position, the battery will then stay in place until it is pivoted out, please see the testing video showing the insertion and removal of the battery as it is required to manoeuvre the battery properly to prevent future damage.
