Both of the wires that connect to the 9V Battery have snapped away from the connection helmet inside the remote hand set

This Brilliant Ledge Gas Fire remote control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a badly damage battery cable.

The battery cable and all 4 buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
