Customer's Fault Description
The unit will switch on the lights and lowest fan setting but will not ramp up the fan through the power level of the remote. It will however do this manually. We have tried to reset everything but no joy.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gutmann Extractor hood remote control arrived safely from Buckinghamshire and on testing most of the buttons were non responsive.
When opened this was found to be due to contamination over the button pads and PCB, this was all cleared which restored full functionality.
