Caple Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Caple

Customers Fault Description : The remote was working intermittently but it wasn't possible to turn off the extractor or turn on the light (this had to be done manually). Recently the remote stopped working altogether despite installing new battery. The lights blink dimly but the remote is non-functional.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely from Bucks and on inspection the PCB was foudn to be loose inside the case causing the buttons to not actualte on all occasions.

This was due to a broken mounting pin, the PCB was hot glued firmly back into place which restored full functionality.
