Blyss Carolina Wall hung fire Remote Repair Details

Model : Carolina Wall hung fire

Customers Fault Description : The remote has stopped working none of the button's work, I believe the battery may have leaked but I can't be 100% sure that's the reason. The fire will not work without the remote. Thanks

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote controller arrived safely from Cambridgeshire and on testing was confirmed ot be dead.  One of the battery terminals was confirmed to have signs of a battery leak this was found not the be the problem.

The issue was found to be due to the oscillator being faulty, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
