Customers Fault Description : Battery’s have leaked in remote, clean acid of but dident work still

This Car Sat-Nav remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on every button press as per normal operation (see testing video).
The control was opened and there was signs of corrosion in the print but there were no open circuits.
This item was classed as no fault found.
