Left out in rain & now not working
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This rmeote arrived safely and when powered up using its double power button press, the remote would spring to life and cycle through its startup sequence. Then after the sequence was complete it would shut down after a few seconds. It is believed that this is because it cannot locate the receiver.
The signal being pinged out of the remote was found to be present.
The remote was opened to check for defects but sadly a fault could ot be replicated. There were no signs of contamination form the rain exposure. It may be that the moisture had dried out and rectified its fault itself.
