Control handset fell from cupboard and the battery connectors snapped in two places, stopping the unit from powering on. I had tried soldering them back on which worked temporarily but it needs doing probably please

This remote arrived safely from Northampton and on inspection one of the terminals was broken and had signs of corrosion, the terminal was replaced which restored full functionality.
