HSL Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : HSL

Customers Fault Description : Very slow on reclining legs/back up and down, also connecting lead has come away from hand unit. This unit is at least 6 years old and has never been repaired before.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This chair controller arrived safely from Cambridge and on inspection the cable was damaged at the remote entry point and also the button contacts were worn.

The cable was cut back and refitted to bypass the break and then replacement conductive pads were fitted under each of the main buttons.
