Customer's Fault Description
Item 1 - Not working at all. When 'trying' with battery overheats. When this item failed, the Hulsta dealer gave a replacement (Item 2).
Item 2 - This unit has worked for many years. In this case the 'blue rocker up button' and 'number 1 memo button' are not working. The red indicator does not light for these two buttons, but does for all those that function. Very occasionally there is a 'momentary flicker' from the up blue button.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two Hulsta remotes arrived safely from Cambridgeshire and on inspection one had the main IC burnt up and the other had faulty functionality on the same IC. Both ICS were ordered (this isn't a standard item we stock)
The ICs arrived and once fitted restored full functionality to both remotes (see testing video) Please note that these remotes don't have polarity protection therefore it is very important not to try to attach the battery incorrectly as it will blow this ICs, i found this out myself by blowing one of the replacement ICs by accident (luckily i purchased a few ICs)
