Customer's Fault Description
A few days ago, the remote simply stopped working on all buttons. Then the day after it worked twice for very short periods, before ceasing altogether.
It was not dropped.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Silverline Aurora Ceiling Cooker Hood remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to transmit on any button press.
This was due to poor solder joints on the main IC, when the solder was re-flowed full functionality was restored (see testing video)
