Customer's Fault Description
Red button connector is intermittent. Forward motion button sticks in,which is dangerous
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor mover remote arrived safely from Grimsby and on testing the power button was found to work as normal, the power will only turn on when the button is pressed twice in quick succession (see testing video). Even though this was as normal a replacement conductive pad was fitted under the power button.
The forward button was confirmed to be sticking, this was due to the expansion of the rubber causing it to stick within the housing, the case was slightly filled open and then lubricated, this restored full functionality to the button.
