Customer's Fault Description
Bottom left button for chair raise return function is intermittant.
If cable is moved whilst button is depressed the function works so one wire in cable appears to have internal break. All other functions work ok. Cable sheath below handset has cracked and fallen off exposing about 30mm of the multiple wires inside. Needs cable replacing
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from Birmingham and on inspection was found to have a damaged cable and worn button contacts.
A replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind) and then conductive pads were glued under each of the main buttons.
