Customer's Fault Description
Top button will not ignite the fire to go on,I have replaced the battery and still won't ignite fire light
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Dimplex remote arrived safely from Motherwell and on inspection the battery housing was broken and missing its retaining clip.
On testing the top button would transmit intermittently but the bottom button was totally inoperable.
This was due to the IC breaking away from the PCB. The IC was reseated properly which restored full functionality.
A replacement battery tray was fitted as well as a Duracell CR2025.
