Customers Fault Description : battery corrosion has caused unit to stop working

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Marantz CD player remote control arrived safely from Leicestershire and on inspection was found to be dead with damaged battery terminals from a battery leak.

The terminals were replaced which restored full functionality.
