Customer's Fault Description
Side mounted On/Off switch stiff and operating erratically. Sound of small piece of plastic rattling around inside. Control buttons for motor engage/ disengage need a “firm” press to operate but all do work
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Truma remote arrived safely from Morayshire and on testing was confirmed not to turn on.  The remote would rattle when shook.

This was found to be due the one of the mounting pins for the PCB being broken.  This allowed the PCB to move around freely in the case.  This stopped the switch from actuating.

The PCB was hot glued firmly into place which restored full functionality.
