The remote will only connect to the receiver if its actually touching it where the light is.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Mertik Maxitrol remote and receiver arrived safely from Carlisle and on testing the remote was found not to be transmitting. This was due to a faulty transducer in the handset, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
No fault was found with the receiver.
