Dimplex Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Control is not communicating with the fire. Fire does not react on any button press
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This heater remote arrived safely from Pelsall and on testing was found to be dead. The battery terminals had signs of a battery leak.
When opened the negative wire from the battery block was found to be corroded and disconnected from the terminal. The wire was replaced which restored full functionality.
