BATTERY LOOSE AND REMOTE NOT WORKING AND CAN'T GET THE BATTERY OUT TO REPLACE IT.....ALSO APPEARS THAT A MOUNING IS MISSING?
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was held on with tape, a replacement battery cover cannot be provided as they are not available as spares.

When opened the PCB was loose inside from a broken mounting pin, also one of the buttons had signs of corrosion (see image), the button was replaced and then the PCB was hot glued firmly into place.  Full functionality was restored.
