Remote doesn't work Something has come loose inside and rattles when you move it.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to rattle when shook.
When opened the metal "weight" plate had broken away from the case and was potentially shorting parts of the PCB.
The metal plate was hot glued firmly back into place and then when tested the remote was found to be fully functional
