Not powering up
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the case was covered in liquid, on opening the PCB inside was also drenched in liquid, it is not known if this is from a battery leak or if it is a foreign substance such as contact cleaner.
The PCB and case was given an alcohol clean to remove all substances.
When tested the remote was foudn to be dead. This was due to a damaged battery terminal, the terminal was replaced which restored full functionality.
The supplied batteries have been disposed of in case one of them has caused the leak.
