Replaced both sets of batteries but still not able to work both gas fires through remote controls. Gas fires can be operated manually without the remote controls.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These remotes and receivers arrived safely and on testing the remote labeled B was found not to transmit a signal, this was due to a faulty US transducer in the handset. This transducer was replaced which restored full functionality. No issue was found with its corresponding receiver.
The remote and receiver marked A was found to be transmitting and subsequentially the receiver would respond as per normal operation. As the communication protocol is functioning we cannot fault the remote part of the items.
The repair payment on this page is for the repair to the remote labelled B.
