Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be non functioning and the LED was very dimly lit permanently.

The Power button was found to have signs of deterioration.  The main issue was found to be due to a faulty oscillator, a replacement was fitted which restored partial functionality, the power button was found to be non functioning due to its decomposition.  A replacement button pad was then fitted in place which restored full functionality.

A replacement battery cover was also fitted as the customers was missing its retaining clips. 

This remote was returned UGTEE and a small amount o moisture was found over a few of the button pads, the led was dim as per the original fault, after cleaning up all the PCB and button contacts the remotes functionality was restored. - Returned 13th Mar 2023
