The remote no longer turns on. there is no longer any display on the screen and backlighting of the keys
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Bose remote arrived safely from France and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was due to a 1R resistor shattering in half.  This resistor was replaced which restored full functionality.
