Customer's Fault Description
The red on/off button appears to be not working. The fire itself can be manually switched on and off and it is fully functioning.<br />
It cannot be used with the remote. The batteries have been replaced but with no success.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Valor Electric Fire model 850 remote controller arrived safely from Lightwater and on testing was found to transmit without a button being pressed, one of the buttons was shorted. The button was restored but then it was found that the other buttons were sluggish in response.
Replacement conductive pads were glued under all buttons which restored full functionality
