Customer's Fault Description
Remote was dropped and rattling from inside. The fire wouldnt turn off and had to cut off the gas supply. Also the light button doesnt always work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This REFLEX 75T gas fire remote control arrived safely and on inspection was found to rattle.
This was due to the large metal weight inside breaking away form the case potentially shorting out contacts on the PCB.
The weight was hot glued back into place and then when testing the remote all buttons were found to function as normal.
