The remote suddenly stopped working. I replaced the batteries, and still no improvement. The extractor works manually on all functions

This Gutmann Extractor fan remote arrived safely from the Isle of Man and on testing using the supplied batteries was found to be transmitting as per normal on each button press.
The code being transmitted was tested against the stock database and was found to be normal.
It was concluded that the issue was most likely with the receiver itself.
