Customer's Fault Description
The red, on/off button has failed to operate for some time. The only method of turning the fire on/off is use of the control button at the bottom of the fire, which means removing the grate at the bottom of the fire. Batteries have been changed a number of times but this does not make any difference.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Valor remote controller arrived safely from Liverpool and on testing was foudn to have non responsive or sluggish buttons (the on/off being the worst)
This was ue to worn button contacts, replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the buttons which restored full functionality.
