Valor 843 Remote Repair Details

Model : 843

Customers Fault Description : The red, on/off button has failed to operate for some time. The only method of turning the fire on/off is use of the control button at the bottom of the fire, which means removing the grate at the bottom of the fire. Batteries have been changed a number of times but this does not make any difference.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Valor remote controller arrived safely from Liverpool and on testing was foudn to have non responsive or sluggish buttons (the on/off being the worst)

This was ue to worn button contacts, replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the buttons which restored full functionality.
