Customer's Fault Description
Batteries had leaked. Wiped out controller and cleaned corrosion. Changed batteries. Controller does not work. Opened case, found more liquid and corrosion, cleaned, put controller back together, put new batteries in, and still doesn't work. The controller was last used in September 22. Only the time and an indication arrow shows on screen, Tried resetting the controller, whole panel showed all the function and then defaulted to the time and arrow.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Pioli Air conditioning unit remote controller arrived safely from Selsdon and on testing was found to have no button response.
The control was opened and the Button array and LCD edge cleaned using alcohol which restored full functionality to all buttons (see testing video)
