batterys drain within a day of replacing!
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was foudn to have a missing battery cover (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available)
On testing the down volume and mute buttons were non responsive, tis was due to worn button caps, replacement conductive pads were fitted under the original which restored full functionality.
The battery terminals had signs of a battery leak / corrosion. this was causing a resistance to the PCB. The negative wire was replaced and the terminal cleaned up.
