Audio Pro Addon T20 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Buttons are sporadically not working - i.e. colume buttons. For example, you could be pressing the 'volume: up' button for 2 mins and nothing happens and then magically the volume goes up whilst still pressing the button moments later. The same with the on/off button. The remote control has been dropped a few times and I think this may be the part-cause. The volume: down button has been pressed in a little too much so that may need to be checked further.. Thank you

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on inspection the button facias around the volume buttons were cracked.

On testing the remote was found to be transmitting on each button press as normal, the control was tested over a 2 day period at random intervals but no issue could be replicated.

It is possible that moisture could get into the button array via the cracked buttons and this may have dried out but as a fault has not been seen this is only speculation.

This item has been classed as no fault found.
