Customer's Fault Description
Remote not working, changed battery but still dead. Also part of the back of the unit is missing
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Garage Door remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available).
On testing the signal was very intermittent, this was due to a cracked solder joint, this was resoldered and then the battery cable replaced.
Full functionality was restored.
