Customer's Fault Description
The Remote has just stopped working, all buttons can get no response at all. Changed batteries to no avail.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control for a Rotel cd player arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
On inspection the battery terminals had signs of a battery leak / rust on the terminals. This was causing a resistance to the power source.
The terminal was cleaned up then re-plated which restored full functionality.
