Customer's Fault Description
Receiver not operating valve in one direction. Receives signal from remote but is not operating the motor. It’s the crystal receiver on one of the frequencies because by reversing the motor connection it will work in either direction.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and receiver arrived safely from Exeter and on testing the receiver was not responding form the remotes down signal.
This was due to a faulty 40khz crystal in the receiver itself. The crystal was replaced which restored full functionality.
No fault was found with the remote
