Volume down button rarely works, volume up button works sometimes. Needs general clean and service.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Sherwood Hi fi amplifier remote control arrived safely from Bradford and on testing was found to have a faulty volume button.

This was due to worn button contacts.  Replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored full functionality (see testing video).
