Have changed the battery. The RC works intermittently
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Neff Extractor fan remote controller arrived safely from Preston and on initial testing was found to be transmitting every time. It was only when talking to the customer when the remote was tapped that the fault happened.
The controller was then opened and the issue was found to be due to rusted battery contacts (see image). The terminals were etched clean and then solid continuous functionality was restored.
